To Prospective Students: I am recruiting PhD students preferably for a Fall start. Successful applicants should have a background in both (i) computer or wireless networks, and (ii) AI/ML. Thesis topics will focus on networked systems—including autonomous systems, robotic systems, cloud/edge networks, and wireless networks—and diverse applications such as video, virtual/augmented reality, and ultra-reliable low-latency communication. A strong background in systems implementation and/or theoretical research is a plus. Interested students should indicate my name in their application package, particularly in their personal statement.
