Undergraduate students interested in acquiring additional design skills are encouraged to consider geosynthetics and Insitu testing (CE 440, CE 445, and CE 442) as design electives.

Undergraduate Required Courses

CE 341 Soil Classification and Properties: Introduction to the fundamentals of soil descriptions, classifications, and testing to determine physical and mechanical properties of soil. Suitable for Geology majors by permission.

CE 444 Geotechnical Design:The design fundamentals of engineering 'in', 'on', and 'of' soil. Prerequisite CE 341.
