Profile
Miguel Andres Figliozzi joined Portland State University in August 2007 as an Assistant Professor in the Civil Engineering Department. Miguel’s research areas are related to freight transportation, logistics, and supply chain management. His current research projects are focused on freight planning, fleet management, pricing and cost allocation problems, supply chain disruptions, and the environmental impacts/sustainability of freight transportation and supply chains.
He has published articles in the area of transportation pricing, auctions, vehicle routing, urban freight and distribution, and international freight transportation. His research was awarded by the INFORMS Transportation Science and Logistics dissertation committee.His previous academic appointment was at the University of Sydney Business School in the Institute for Transport and Logistics.
