Dr. Miguel Andres Figliozzi's main teaching and research areas include air quality and emissions modeling, new vehicle technologies, freight and logistics, active transportation, and traffic and public transit operations.
Dr. Figliozzi joined Portland State University in August 2007. His previous academic appointment was at the University of Sydney. Dr. Figliozzi works in partnership with local, regional, state, and federal transportation agencies, organizations, and private companies. He is the director of the Transportation Technology and People (TTP) research lab. He is also a member of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Network Modeling Committee and Transportation and Logistics Committee. He is the facutly advisor of the ITE PSU student chapter.
