Week 7 - Working Day, no lecture

Announce

  1. ASME Presentation Contest: Cancelled

  2. MCECS is offering career workshops see this page for the schedule

No formal class meeting today. Teams are free to work on their projects. I will be holding office hours in the classroom to answer questions about your projects or course logistics.

Final draft of web pages are due May 22. Please take these steps before you submit your final version

  • Review your project web page from links on the Projects page
  • Review the detailed information given as a handout during Lecture 3.
  • Review the web pages of other teams to get ideas for improving your web page
  • Read the comments in the scoring spreadsheet uploaded to D2L. Note that I incorrectly configured the Dropbox as an "individual upload", which means that only the person uploading the documents received the feedback. That team member will have to share the documents with the rest of the team.
  • Make your revisions starting with the Markdown file uploaded as part of my comments. Do not change the YAML header.
  • Consult the assignment which has additional details

The final version of your project web page should have more detailed information than the draft version submitted on May 2. You should use the feedback on the first draft to refine the web page, and you should add more information in the Outcomes section to reflect recent progress.
