The purpose of this in-class assignment is to review your progress towards acheiving the Goal you wrote about in the first writing assignment in the Fall quarter.

I will hand out a copy of your essay, so that you can review what you wrote last quarter.

• Write about 1 page in class.
• Outline the Goal, and the 2 strategies you choose in your original paper.
• Write about the progress you have made towards acheiving your goal.
• Discuss the effectiveness of your two strategies. If they worked discuss why. If they did not work, discuss how you might change them.
• Finally, reflect on the whole process of defining goals and working towards them.
  1. Does the process work?
  2. Were your Goals good goals?
  3. Were your strategies realistic?
  4. Are there other goals you want to acheive?
  5. Could this process (or a similar one) help you acheive them?
