Todays metor session digs deeper into our discussion about poverty. This is the first part in a larger discussion about the UNST goal: The Diversity of Human Experience. It has three parts.

• Read the wikipedia article.
• Read a review of A Framework for Understanding Poverty
• Write a paragraph (100-150 words) using the templates from 3 ways to respond.

The purpose of the paragraph is to

• Report on one or two ideas mentioned in the wikipedia article or the review. Using your own words, tell what the idea is.
• Then, using one or more templates, tell what you think about these ideas.
• Then tell a short annecdote from your own experience that relates to that idea.
