A New Rarity System
OK, I realize that everyone is familiar and pretty happy with the current scheme for the rarity system, so this is more just a thought for the fun of it.

My suggestion is to create four levels of rarity: Rare, Uncommon, Frequent, and Common. These cards would be distributed per booster: 1 rare, 2 uncommons, 4 frequents, and 8 commons. The fun part about this distribution is that each level is exactly twice as rare as the one before. This makes it easy to determine their value in trading – sort of. It also means that there are less cards in a pack that are the “throw-away” commons, without decreasing the value of the rares. Actually, this would increase the value of uncommons slightly, and introduce frequents in their old value. The main thing about this is that it makes it much easier to determine statistics on this set versus a 1\3\11 booster pack.
