Computer Games: Tentacle Playground

Tentacle Playground
A living tentacle planet is hurtling toward earth, and it's up to you and your spaceship to stop it. Blast your way over the surface and then down to the center of this moon-eating mass of tentacles. Writhing backgrounds, bizarre creatures, and lots of stuff to shoot make for a visually stunning game.

Background: (As much as can be in a game like this.)
A giant tentacle planet is racing through space on a collision course for our solar system. The planet is an Eco system in itself, a living mass of tentacles, and other creatures that live off each other, and the moons and small planets this thing eats.
You have been sent as a lone ship, because the planet will not attack small objects. Your mission is to plant a bomb in the center of the planet.

The box in the center is the CD cover I envisioned for the game. This was about the time games first were coming out on CD, and I envisioned that most games in the future would be purchaced in boxes similar to CD's. Funny it never worked out like that. I guess computer games are more like board games - people want a big box before they feel like they are getting their money's worth. Oh yah, the other thing is a sketch of an "Eyeball Crab" biting the big one. Hey! Things aren't pretty on a Tentacle world!
