Particle Removal Testing Procedure

• Adjust pumping rate to desired flow

• Insert 10 kg of graded sand via inlet port

• Turn off pumps 10 minutes after all sand passes inlet port

• Remove passing particles from plankton nets

• Oven dry sand

• Weigh sand passing CDS unit

• Sieve sand
