Information for ISMVL-2000 Attendees

During the Conference:


Please wear your ISMVL-2000 badge.
Smoking, drinking and eating are permitted only in the lounge
near the conference room.
Smoking, drinking and eating are not permitted in the conference rooms.

Speakers (Regular Session):


20 minutes' presentation + 5 minutes' questions and answers.
Since the schedule is very tight, please finish your presentation
within the allocated time.
Each room will be equipped with a transparency projector (OHP).
Please note that there is no 35 mm slide projector, there will be also computer connection.

Lunch:


Registration fees will include lunches at PSU.
In addition, you can find many restaurants near the conference site.
Please see the restaurant guide.

Coffee Breaks:


Coffee, tea, soft drinks, doughnuts and cookies will be served at the lobby.

Reception:


Time: 18:00-20:00 on May 30 (Tuesday)
Beverage and food will be served. Everyone is welcome.

Banquet:


Place: Harrison Hall.
Time: 18:30 to 20:30 on June 1 (Thursday).
Style: Buffet
Student registration fee does not include the banquet ticket.
Extra banquet ticket can be purchased at the registration desk.
We will collect banquet tickets at the banquet, so please do not lose it.

Available at registration desk.

There are many stores in downtown.
There are several large bookstores
department stores, and electronics stores.
Powell's Bookstore is one of the largest in USA. It has books in all languages.
All shops have has ATM machines that accept VISA and MasterCard.
Walking distance from PSU Campus and all conference hotels.
