Select the Lid command from the upper right quadrant to
edit lid information. The lower right quadrant window will be activated
(see Figure 49). You can now vary the length, width, and thickness of the
lid using the techniques you learned in Section 6.3.4.5.

Definitions for Lid Window
Lid Material: The material the lid, a flat cover plate used to seal a package cavity, is made of. This is a picklist field. You can view the material properties of the lid material by selecting the Property button, calling a Material Properties window. The fields in the window are defined in the Glossary in Appendix B.
Lid ring width: The width of the lid seal ring, which binds the lid to the package. This is an entry field. The range for this field is 0 to 5000 mils.
Lid ring length: The length of the lid seal ring, which binds the lid to the package. This is an entry field. The range for this field is 0 to 4020 mils.
Lid ring thickness: The thickness of the lid seal ring, which binds the lid to the package. This is an entry field. This range for this field is 0 to 20 mils.
Select the Lid Seal command from the upper right quadrant to edit lid information. The lower right quadrant window will be activated (see Figure 51). You can now vary the thickness of the lid seal using the techniques you learned in Section 6.3.4.5.

Lid seal material: The material the lid seal, which binds the lid to the package, is made of. This is a picklist field. You can view the material properties of the lid seal material by selecting the Property button, calling a Material Properties window. The fields in the window are defined in the Glossary. If the material you want is not in the picklist, add it via the Material Library option.
Lead bonding space: The size of the lead inside the package for the purpose of wire or TAB bonding. This is an entry field. The range for this field is 5 to 249 mils.
Lid seal thickness: The thickness, in mils, of the lid seal.
