Snake River from Hells Canyon Dam to Heller Bar

My friend and colleague Jon Walpole invited me to join a trip down the Snake River organized by some of his friends from the Lower Columbia Canoe Club.

We made the trip during a period of high water, with peak daily flows of about 27,000 cfs.
