Week 4 - Professional Issue Vignettes

Announce

  1. First draft of your team's web page content is due tomorrow (Apr 25). Refer to the assignment page for details. Upload your Markdown file and all image files (JPEG and PNG)

  2. Bradley Helm is traveling, and will not be available for consulting this week.

  3. ASME Presentation Contest:

    • Evening of Wednesday, May 30, time and room in the Engineering Building TBA
    • Download the scoring criteria from 2017 – some minor revisions may be made

  4. Next week, Trevor Scheck, Secretary of the Oregon Section of ASME will talk about working full time as a Mechanical Engineer. He will share his personal experiences and highlight the role that the ASME plays in the development of the Mechanical Engineering Profession.

The entire class period will be devoted to a series of vignettes related to working as an engineer.
