About

I am a professor in the Department of Computer Science at Portland State University where I work on topics in cloud computing, security, and applying Generative AI to both. I participate in the Google Cloud Platform's Faculty Expert program as well as the AWS Educate Cloud Ambassador program. My current projects include developing CTFs and codelabs to teach advanced topics in security as well as performing outreach to high-school students via camps and internships through CyberPDX and Saturday Academy. I'm currently working on Re-imagining the Role of Humans in Security Education with the help of NSF and Ameeta Agrawal. A recording of our 2024 NSF SaTC PI Meeting tutorial can be found here
