PSU CS CAPSTONE

Grading Policies.

Students will be graded on their work over the two terms. The grade of "IP" (In Progress) will be assigned to each student at the end of the first term of the sequence. Grades for both terms will be assigned at the end of the second term. In most cases, the same grade will be given for both terms though there can be unique instances where they can differ. If, for some reason, you drop the course prior to completing CS 488, you will receive a failing grade for CS 487. It cannot be stressed enough that students are expected to contribute to their project and meet their obligations in a timely manner. Academic and intellectual dishonesty will NOT be tolerated. Grades will be based on five criteria:

  1. Project Outcome;
  2. Development Process;
  3. Degree of Teamwork;
  4. Participation; and
  5. Completion of individual engineering notebooks.
Your grade will depend on these five components.

Your work within your group will be evaluated by your peers - the rest of your teammates using this form. A Word version can be found here.
