These pictures document a four day canoe trip from Clarno to Cottonwood (~70 miles Class II-III) on the John Day River in central Oregon in March (yes March!) 2007 with Jon and Kirti Walpole in canoe and Jim Hook in raft. River levels were 5500 cfs at the Service Creek gage, dropping to 4500 cfs. The majority of these pictures were taken by Jim Hook.
