ECE483/583: Low Power Digital IC Design
Syllabus
-
The course presents a board survey of the problems in modeling and
design of high-performance low power design.
It provides necessary background for students to carry
out research in this area. The covered topics are: power consumption sources,
dynamic & leakage power, voltage scaling, power reduction methods at different
design levels.
-
No text book can cover all the
topics. Research papers will be used for this rapid changing
area. The students are required to develop their independent
reading and comprehension capability.
-
The projects are based on the study of research papers.
