What We Would Do Differently.

Give an outline about how court works.
Have a lawyer/judge visit the class and explain some basic procedures/strategies.
Take a field trip to the courthouse.
Time to rehearse.
Time to work in main class.
Dock points for being absent--no points!
Give grading guidelines explicitly.
Plan out cross examination questions.
Make plaintiffs and defendants separate teams.
More time to execute the assignment.

What we learned.

River called narmada.
4500 dams.
That many village would be submerged.
Flood control was part of the project.
Dams create methane.
World bank withdrew.
How much $ the engineers and companies had in the project.
Building a dam can destroy the soil (salination).
Tallest masonary dam.
People were given too small of compensation package.
