What things went best about Design and Society?
What things did not work?
What we should have done? but we did not.
Advice was good-applies, most of it applies to life as well as class
Was it good to be together for a whole year? Yes
Debates-topics were not easy to argue on both sides, rules seemed ambiguous, not everyone took the assignment seriously.
Legos-need to know about gears-do you learn by doing or by having someone tell you
Mini Portfolio - good, but it would have helped to have done this each term. Build in more reflection each term.
Katrina Study-seemed good
Case Studies-good way to learn.
How about letting students choose what other things to read to prepare
most people did not do more than the required reading.
To far away, hard to understand because we don’t know the place or the people
