Tools for starting your search
Some websites have tables of data already in Excel format. Others will require you to cut and paste them into Excel. Tables pasted in Excel can often be arranged in columns using the "Text to columns" tool under the "Data" tab. Ask another classmate or Bridger is you need help with this, or use the help function in Excel. You might still have to do some manual tweaking to get all of your data to line up.

To make comparisons, in some cases, you may have to find source data from several places and combine it in your Excel spreadsheet.
