In order to better understand how the Bull Run System operates and how natural forcing functions, like stream inflows, affect the reservoirs and their operation, extensive data collection and analysis was undertaken for the reservoir system.  The analysis presented was also used to help develop the necessary input files for running the water quality model.  Data was obtained from the Portland Water Bureau and from other sources such as the U.S. Geological Survey and the U.S. Forest Service.
