Teaching and research interests:
General interests include modeling hyrologic and other environmental systems with a focus on describing and explaining random behaviour and uncertainty. Particular research interests include investigating the relationship of large scale climate patterns to local and regional climate and hydrologic processes and modeling of streamflow and related climate processes for the purposes of long term (several months to one year ahead) hydrologic forecasting.
