Extra Credit For extra credit of 3 points Do the example problem on unsteady state flow of water to drain from a circular tank of 2.2 meter high and 1 meter in diameter. The orifice at the bottom of the tank is 10 cm in diameter. Find, by using numerical analysis, the time it takes for the free surface to drop from 2 meter to 0.4 meter. Important Notice: Extra credit project will not be accepted after Nov 21 to avoid mass build up of paper grading for this term. |
