A dedication ceremony was held on October 19, 2005, to recognize a collection of books donated to the ETM Library by Dr. Harold A. Linstone, PSU University Emeritus of Systems Science. The event was organized by the Omega Rho International Honor Society - PSU Chapter. During the ceremony Dr. Linstone was presented with a framed certificate by Omega Rho honoring him for the "Harold A. Linstone Collection."

Dr. Linstone is the editor-in-chief of the journal Technological Forecasting and Social Change. He co-developed the well known consensus/survey technique, The Delphi Method. He is the author of several books including The Unbounded Mind: Breaking the Chains of Traditional Business Thinking, and most recently Decision Making for Technology Executives: Using Multiple Perspectives to Improve Performance. Dr. Linstone began teaching at PSU in 1971. Prior to that he worked for 20 years in the aerospace industry.
