The newly refurbished Days Inn City Center has been designated as the AEWG's hotel lodging site for AEWG-46. It is practically on the PSU campus, close to the major city transportation lines and extremely affordable.  Click here for more hotel details for AEWG conference goers.

AEWG-PSU has negotiated a room rate of $69.00, double occupancy (+11.5% sales tax). For $79.00 per night, a full American breakfast will be included for up to two room guests. Transportation - 

from airport ("PDX")  to the the PSU campus (and the eventual hotel) can be done with a Taxi, Portland's light rail (max) system. The drive from PDX to PSU is 20 minutes traffic permitting, the light rail may take 30 to 40 minutes. The max's (metropolitan area express) red line starts at the airport terminal near the baggage claim area and costs $1.55 one way.

       

getting around Portland - the immediate downtown area on the West side of the Williamette can be walked.  The light rail and trolley system runs though the downtown area as well as a Trimet bus network.

The hotel and PSU campus are within Portland's so-called "fareless square."  Short trips within this small region, on the light rail, trolly or buses are Free!
