• An associate professor in the Department of Computer Science & Electrical Engineering in the OGI School of Science & Engineering on the West Campus of the Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Beaverton, Oregon.

• A reader, and head of the Languages & Programming group in the School of Computer Science and IT at the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom.

• An associate research scientist in the Haskell group at Yale University in Connecticut.

• A DPhil student in the Programming Research Group, part of the Computing Laboratory in Oxford.
