If you are new to AutoCAD please complete the following tutorials from AutoCAD services and support
- Tutorial 1: Getting Started with the Basics in AutoCAD 2010
This tutorial provides an introduction to drawing in AutoCAD. You will quickly learn to draw a line, select and delete objects, use dynamic input to enter commands, and learn how to zoom and pan. You will also learn to use InfoCenter to access additional information.
- Tutorial 2: Drawing Setup in AutoCAD 2010
This tutorial shows you how to set up a drawing environment in AutoCAD. You will learn how to use a drawing template file, switch to a 3D workspace, select drawing units, and set the plot scale. This tutorial also provides an introduction to understanding model space and paper space.
- Tutorial 3: Drawing Objects in AutoCAD 2010
This tutorial shows you draw objects in AutoCAD. You will learn how to specify drafting settings to draw a circle, polygon, arc and polyline. You also learn how to apply hatch pattern to a closed boundary.
