Outreach Goals
1. To inspire sustained student interest in science, mathematics and engineering through classroom presentations and hands-on experiments.
2. To expose the general public to our microgravity research, various NASA programs and engineering opportunities at PSU.
Focus of Outreach
Primary Focus
By interacting with young students and the community in an effort to inform and excite them about our experiment and opportunities offered by NASA, we will be providing role models for careers in science and engineering. Our primary focus will be middle-school students, local nonprofit organizations involved with student enrichment programs that emphasize science, professional organizations, and news media coverage.
Secondary Focus
Our secondary focus will be to educate and share our experiences with our peers, the general public and elementary and high school students.
