Microgravity Team

This year, Portland State University was given the unique chance to participate in NASA's Reduced Gravity Student Flight Opportunity Program. Beginning work in the fall of 2002, a group of five Mechanical Engineering Students at PSU proposed an experiment to fly aboard the KC-135 reduced gravity aircraft.

Team ALBERT traveled to NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas this March to finally test the experiment in reduced gravity.
An amazing experience, our group hopes to motivate further collaborative research projects between NASA and Portland State University.
