Distinguished Traveling Lecturer
Dr. Casperson has been selected by the American Physical Society
Division of Laser Science to be a Distinguished Traveling Lecturer.
Possible topics for his DTL presentations are
- Waterfalls and other curious lasers.
- Recent developments in the analysis and synthesis of
beam-optical systems.
- Instabilities and chaos in lasers and other physical systems.
- Few-cycle effects and other complications in modern light-matter
interactions.
- A history of lasers, from the forgotten past to the
unforeseeable future.
