Before I graduated, I was a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at Portland State University (PSU) in Portland, Oregon. I worked for the HPC Lab and my advisor was Professor Karen L. Karavanic. My research was in computer performance evaluation. For my dissertation research, I  investigated scalable event-based performance measurement on high-end systems.
