I have made available a small sample of qin tunes here in mp3 format, including some historic melodies from the qin playing greats of the 20th century (Wu Jing-lue, Guan Ping-hu, Zha Fu-xi, Xu Li-sun). Note that Tao's name is misspelled. It's Sheng, not Shen. There are also other interesting pieces on that site.

The following is not a Ch'in melody, but a computer composition that borrows motif/themes from the Ch'in melody known as Xiao-xiang-shui-yun. It was composed and recorded approximately 1988 and released on a alternative label under the title "Jade Guitar".
