The following is a rough attempt at listing out the various features of CHP in terms of past, present, and future version, as well as wishes. The list of wishes is my rephrasing of the wishes expressed on the CHP Wishlist.

Page Editing

Tables

Drag in any tab-delimited text, and you automatically get a table.

Make it easier to resize cells in tables.

Allow selection of multiple cells in tables and changing thier characteristics as a group.

Display tables in the same way as the browsers do.

Frames

Frame layouts are a special type of document. You set up the dimensions of your frames, then select which html pages go where.

Display the actual documents within the frame layout.

Allow the documents to be edited within the frameset.

Image Maps

Server-side image maps are supported.

Client-side and server-side are both available.

Use one interface to creat both types of image maps.

Links

The link editor is fairly easy.

To create a link to a file, drag that file's icon into the CHP window.

Change a URL into a link automatically. Or at least provide a single-click button.

Advanced Features

FileMaker Pro Integration

Extensive integration with FileMaker Pro.

FileMaker Assistant to generate ready-made web ffront-endss for databases.

A number of templetes for speciffic database uses.

Full support for visual editing of all CDML tags.

Inline editing in FileMaker Pro.

Miscelanneous

Document Options

Make the title of the page an editable field, so no more changing it in a dialog box.

Browser Preview

Preview in browser without saving document (creates a temporary Preview.html file)

Preview in multiple browsers, but document is saved before preview.

We want our preview without save ability back.
