The PSU IEEE Student branch is a student run organization in the ECE department. IEEE members volunteer their time and efforts to serve the student body while advancing career prospects. Current projects include:
Lockers are available to rent. $5.00 for IEEE members and $10.00 for Non-members. If you find a locker without a lock on it you can fill the agreement out, print it out and bring it and your money to the IEEE store to claim the locker you would like. You are expected to provide your own lock!
The IEEE is a national organization which sponsers a variety of scholarships, fellowships, contests and what have you. Student membership is $30 a year, and be purchased online at the IEEE Website. Besides eligibility for IEEE sponsored events, membership also gives you subscriptions to industry publications and a discount in the IEEE Student store.
