What is the IEEE Student Branch?
The PSU IEEE Student branch is a student run organization in the ECE department. IEEE members volunteer their time and efforts to serve the student body while advancing career prospects. Current projects include: Tutoring in lower division ECE classes Occasional Pizza Parties, Feedings, and Events A student run store selling Toolboxes and electronic components Creating a website with informative content Lockers are available to rent. $5.00 for IEEE members and $10.00 for Non-members. All locks have locks so please inquire within as to which lockers are available! You are expected to provide your own lock! The IEEE is a national organization which sponsers a variety of scholarships, fellowships, contests and what have you. Student membership is $32.00 a year, and be purchased online at the IEEE Website. Besides eligibility for IEEE sponsored events, membership also gives you subscriptions to industry publications and a discount in the IEEE Student store.
