Please note that earlier editions (8th or 9th ) will be fine for lecture material. Homework problems will be different, and you need to make arrangements to obtain those.

Grading Policy:  Grades will be based on homework, two midterms and the final exam as follows:

Homework 10%
Two midterm exams * 55%
Final exam (comprehensive) 35%

* No make up exams will be given. Percentage of any missed midterm exam will be added to the final exam percentage.

Students who have requested accommodation through DRC must arrange for an exam time which overlaps with in-class exam period.

Homework is due at the beginning of the class (Maximum of 5 minutes after the official start time of the class).  Late homework will not be graded.  Students who present the homework solution using Mathcad will receive a 10% bonus point on that homework set.

1. Print the Mathcad Student purchase PDF form using the following link:

2. Fill out and submit the form to the Help Desk, room 18 Smith center. Students need to have their current PSU ID with them.
3. The software activation code will be e-mailed to you. It will cost $20.
