Directions

Brooklyn College (via subway)

Take the 2 train to Flatbush Avenue (end of the line). On the surface there is a big intersection of three roads: main roads Nostrand and Flatbush cross in a flattened 'X', Hillel is a short connector between this intersection and a side gate at Brooklyn College. Hillel is bounded by McDonalds on one side and Subway (the fast food joint) on the other. You can also look up and walk in the direction of the spire of the BC library, which is a white colonial looking spire with a gold point.

Grace van Vorst Church, Jersey City

Corner of Second and Erie Streets in downtown Jersey City, first block East of Jersey Avenue. Less than half a mile (as the crow flies) from Holland Tunnel. Zip code is 07302.

The church is a five minute walk away from the Grove Street PATH station, which is served by both the Newark/World Trade Center and the Journal Square/33rd Street lines. Exit the station on the escalator side and follow Bay Street (past Dunkin Donuts) a few blocks to Second Street, then walk left one block.

Parking is a challenge, especially on the weekends. Try the public lot (marked "Historic Downtown Shopping Parking") one block away from the church on First Street between Jersey Avenue and Erie Street. Parking in the lot is free on Sundays.

Renee Weiler Recital Hall at Greenwich House in West Village (via subway)

Take the 1/9 train (red circle) to Christopher Street/Sheridan Square. Walk 2.5 blocks south along the west side of Seventh Avenue South to Barrow Street. Turn right (heading southwest) on Barrow to number 46. Look for the green flag of the Greenwich House Music School.
