Place the mouse near your keyboard with the cable pointing away from
you. You don't need a special pad or grid, just a few inches of clear desk
space. The mouse cord should move freely as you move the mouse.
The following guidelines can help you develop your own mouse style:
- Hold the mouse in a relaxed manner with your thumb and little finger at
either side of the mouse. Relax your hand and use a light touch.
- Rest your index, middle, and ring fingers on the three mouse buttons.
- Rest your wrist naturally on the desk surface.
- To move the mouse, let your hand pivot at the wrist.
- Notice how the cursor moves on your screen as you move the mouse on your
desktop.
Note: For information on using your mouse with the supplied
MouseWare utilities and with various application programs, see the
MouseWare User's Guide , included in this package.
