There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh
after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become
unprofitable: there is none that doeth good, no, not one... Now we know
that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the
law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty
before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be
justified in His sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin... Even
the righteousness of God by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all
them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and
come short of the glory of God;... Therefore we conclude that a man is
justified by faith without the deeds of the law... Do we then make void
the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
Notice that Paul said 'God forbid'.
For it is by Gods will, not mans will: that we uphold the law. For it
is through faith in believing that what God had promised, He is also
able and willing to fulfill His promise.
Which is His righteousness through faith. Now we are justified by faith
through His work that He be glorified. Now where is our gloriing? But
in Christ alone.
Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it
in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of
unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that
are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of
righteousness unto God. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for
ye are not under the law, but under grace. What then? shall we sin,
because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
So how do we not sin? Why, 'God forbid'. That is how. We
believed on Him, and now He has made us servants of righteousness rather
than servants of sin. He has willed it. Why? because our faith is in
Him. We have yielded ourselves over to Him, that He may do His perfect
will in us. By His wonderful Grace. Why? LOVE. Out of
His precious Love for us. So our faith rests in His Love.
But God commendeth His Love toward us, in that, while we were yet
sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by His
blood, we shall be save from wrath through Him.
For it is He that called us, not, we that have called Him. And by
His grace we have recieved this wonderful free gift of salvation. What
is salvation? But, to know Him.
WHO SHALL SEPARATE US FROM THE
LOVE OF CHRIST?
NADA---
NOTHING SHALL SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF GOD, WHICH IS IN CHRIST
JESUS OUR LORD.
