Statistical Sampling |
This simulation demonstrates the effect of statistical sampling. Different samples (move the yellow sample box) give different measured DPM values (yellow element on histogram). Smaller samples (reduce sample size) give wider distributions (green histogram). Larger samples (increase sample size) give narrower distributions. Probabilities are, of course, proportional to the true DPM (move red bar).
