CS410/510SS Project
As discussed extensively in class, the culmination of
this course is to work on a larger and more realistic
project. By now, I expect you'll know the general outlines
of what is to be done and submitted. There are two choices of project:
Your first assignment is to select a project, form a team
if necessary, and map out a general plan of attack. I would
like a one-paragraph e-mail report from you on these points
no later than Monday February 28.
What I'll
expect from you at project's end is
- All source code for the project (e-mail me a MIME or
uuencoded tar or ZIP bundle of all source files).
- A 2-3 page paper describing your methodology and results
for the project (e-mail me MIME or uuencoded PostScript or
PDF, or turn in hardcopy).
- A presentation in class of your methodology (3-5 transparencies or
about 15 minutes per team member).
Recall that all project materials will be due no later than 5PM Tuesday
March 14, 2000. No exceptions on this one, I'm afraid: it's
just too close to my grading deadline.
Have fun, and (as always) let me know if you have any
problems or questions!
