I am the Wedge Vision Associate Professor of Computer Science at Portland State University (PSU). I also have a courtesy appointment with PSU's Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. Prior to my employment at PSU and from 2013 to 2017, I was a Research Scientist at Intel Labs in Santa Clara, CA.
I received my Ph.D. and M.S degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rice University in 2011 and 2007, respectively. My Ph.D. advisor was Professor Edward Knightly. From 2011 to 2013, I was a Post-doctoral Research Associate in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Princeton University, working under supervision of Professor Mung Chiang. I received my B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in 2005. I am a recipient of the 2020 NSF CAREER award and 2023-2025 Maseeh college Wedge Vision Professorship award.
