About

I was born and raised in India in a small town called Jamshedpur (map). I left home when I was 17 to study Computer Science abroad, and with the exception of a brief stint in Industry, I have been doing just that ever since. Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. at Portland State University in the Dept. of Computer Science. My research focuses on enhancing the security of Participatory Sensing applications. The objective is to increase the level of trust consumers can place in the data collected by these applications. A parallel goal is to ensure that the added cost of security does not hinder scalability.
