Attendance is not required by the instructor, but proof of attendance may be required by a sponsor, e.g., for financial aid, if you fail the class. Sign the attendance sheet, if you need to prove that you attended the lectures.
Often, though possibly not always, lectures will be recorded and placed on-line. Instructions for accessing the recordings are linked by the landing page.
If you cannot attend a lecture, please submit your homework via email. You can also deliver your homework to the instructor on a day before the due date.
